Library Committee
Library Committee had been constituted for the purpose of smooth functioning of the library and coordination with all School Deans’, Heads of the Department, faculty members, and the management. The Library Committee meets twice in a year and informal meetings of the members are held as and when required. The Committee also meets the Director to seek his approval and guidance as far as important Library issues are concerned.

Functions of Committee
◉ To formulate various policies and regulations related to library which governs the functions of the library.
◉ To work towards modernization and improvement of Library Services.
◉ To exchange information about the library and information requirements of the academic community of school, departments and students.
◉ To propose library activities, programs and services.
◉ To propose library and information literacy in the institute
◉ To share and disseminate information and good practice with respect to the provision of library services, delivered in collaboration between School/Departments and the Library
◉ To review Library readership school or department wise and to adopt measures to enhance readership to score high in NAAC, NBA etc.
◉ To seek feedback on Library functions from readers once in a Semester.
◉ To advise and consult with the Librarian and the professional library staff on any matters pertaining to the policies, administration, use and functions of the Library.
◉ To ensure that Library strategy, policies and services take account of equality of opportunity, in which context the Library will report annually to the Committee on its activities with respect to equality and diversity.
